Client Guidelines

While we welcome a diverse range of patrons and uphold a policy of inclusivity, we do require a brief evaluation to be completed prior to rendering our services. Below is a list of guidelines designed to ensure that your service experience is exceptional:

Consultation & Project Review

Before any project begins, we will:

• Discuss your design or website needs in detail.

• Review your goals, target audience, and desired outcomes.

• Determine project scope, timeline, and deliverables.

• Provide a quote based on the services requested.

Clients are responsible for providing all necessary information, content, images, logos, branding materials, and any other project requirements via email before work begins.

Payment Policy

PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE WORK BEGINS!

• Full payment (or the agreed upon deposit for services over $250) must be received before design work starts.

• No concepts, drafts, mockups, or website development will begin until payment has been received.

• Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

• Final files, website access, and project deliverables will be released after all remaining balances have been paid in full.

Revisions

• Projects include the number of revisions specified in your service agreement.

• Additional revisions beyond the included amount may incur extra charges.

• Major changes to the original project scope may require a revised quote.

Turnaround Time

• Graphic design projects typically have a timeline of 72 hours. In contrast, web design projects can range from 72 hours to 7 days, depending on the complexity and size of the website.

• Project timelines begin after payment has been received and all required materials have been submitted.

• Delays in providing content, feedback, or approvals may affect the completion date.

• Rush orders may be available for an additional fee of $50-100.

Website Design Services

Please be aware that hosting and domain are INCLUDED in fees and services. If you have purchased a domain already, there is an additional service fee to attach your domain and EXTENDS the time frame of your website's publishing.

For web design projects, clients must provide:

• Business information

• Logo and branding materials

• Website content and images

• Domain and hosting information (if applicable)

• Contact information and social media links

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving website content before launch.

Communication

To maintain project efficiency:

• Please provide clear instructions and consolidated feedback.

• Communication should be conducted through approved channels such as email, text, or scheduled consultations with minute notes, all used to provide a papertrail.

• Response times may vary based on project workload and business hours are preferred.

Ownership & Usage Rights

• Design ownership transfers to the client upon full payment unless otherwise stated in the agreement.

• We reserve the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Project Cancellation or Abandonment

• If a project is canceled after work has begun, payments already made are non-refundable.

• Any completed work up to the cancellation date remains the property of the designer and all files will be deleted.

• If a project requires a recurrent service fee and the monthly or annual fee and the account is not settled within 30 days, the project is considered ABANDONED and will be deleted. 

• All abandoned services cannot be revived and the client must start over from the beginning if they wish to rehire for services.

Agreement

By submitting payment and requesting services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these guidelines and policies.
